My Work

When your content marketing stretches across eras between pre-digital marketing and the social media age, the fundamentals of how I got to writing online are as telling as the digital examples themselves. From leading brand strategy and content writing teams to managing the social media for multi-national corporations and small businesses, my work mixing brand voice with eye-catching content has served me well. Take a look at some of my work history below.

QCash Financial

The tide is rolling in for mobile lending platform QCash Financial, and I am fortunate enough to come aboard at a very opportune time to coordinate all things digital content writing, engagement, outreach to banking influencers and partners, and expand QCash Financial’s in-house blogging workload.

Pacific Coast Harvest

In January 2018, organic produce delivery service Pacific Coast Harvest had just changed ownership and new head man Chris Teeny was looking for someone to own the company's digital media channels. Once aboard, I changed focus to create original content, channeling through the PCH blog, that would build credibility, grow targeted user interest, and lead potential customers back to the website and purchase pages.

Rory Martin.com

Rory Martin.com enabled me to truly stretch my wings in taking over the day-to-day strategy and content responsibilities for corporate clients both large and small. From international conglomerate Legend Brands and Seattle builder Dwell Development to smaller Seattle-area institutions like Mora Iced Creamery, Nufabrx lifestyle products, Koochikoo Cookies, and Sterling Johnston Real Estate, I managed the content and strategy for 14 different clients with up to 19 different social channels.

CreativeLive

I had the great opportunity to "streamline" live-streaming company CreativeLive's social media channels, top to bottom. Contributing strategy and consistency to the company's daily offerings, I also reorganized CreativeLive's video channels YouTube and VIMEO to ensure ease of search for viewers.
With hundreds of thousands of monthly viewers and through-the-roof engagement, I was proud to contribute to the growth and health of Chase Jarvis's CreativeLive startup.

The Robbins Company, Ad 1

On behalf of the world's top tunnel-boring machine company, The Robbins Company, I was tasked with creating a worldwide magazine advertising campaign. Collaborating with graphic design, we realized my vision to communicate the scope and grandeur of what Robbins can build.

The Robbins Company, Ad 2

This second ad on behalf of The Robbins Company communicates the power and grit that comes with hiring one of the top two TBM companies in the world. Completing the copy on the lower right, we took the project to the client, and our work was met with overwhelming approval, both by the client and top industry magazines around the world.

PEMCO Insurance, Banner Image 1

PEMCO Insurance came to HansenBelyea looking to execute a banner ad campaign for the employee lounge at their Lynnwood, WA, headquarters. My mind immediately went to a strategy of geography -- highlighting cities and towns, large and small, and reminding the company's employees who they were helping and where they lived.
Through a combination of regional or historical facts, landmark and lifestyle imagery, and corresponding content, the banner campaign turned out to be a head-turner around the company.

The final product of PEMCO's banner ad campaign. From Portland, OR, to little Electric City, WA, to Boise, ID, and more, PEMCO employees were able to realize the many communities they were influencing every day throughout the Pacific Northwest.
